Focus ...

Welcome to 2011 ...

Filing away 2010. The pain of change no longer surpasses the pain of staying the same.

I look forward to having this help me keep my focus in the coming year. Also, I thank all those I discovered in 2010, who helped me "begin" with the end in mind.

Here's to 2011.

20 years in a Nutshell

365-5

OK, I was having a bad hair day. The end of January...
I am pleasantly surprised to have found people lost to me for decades.
Taking a page from a friend....here is "20 years in a nut shell"
Art classes on hold...
I took a few business classes and got a job at Bally's as an admin for 3 clubs, and helped with a new club opening... then switched gears and went into health care... for years I worked in a dental office ...
Got married...
Bought a house...
Lost a parent...
had a child ... switched jobs and turned my life upside down.
Had 3 more children...
Saw things that fascinated me, but also skewed my views on many things...
So I left health care, and switched to hospitality.
Turned my life right side up
Still somehow ,landing on my feet.
Looking back, I wonder where it all went, and what really happened.
Most importantly ... what is to come.

2008 is a wash. I am relieved that the year is over. Someone told me that it was the year of change, and sure enough. many things have changed.

I am focusing on more productive projects.
Having said that, I also cannot loose sight of my slightly off center view on things.

Resolutions:

To update, update, update...well at least once a month.
Complete Project 365.

I just feel like 2009 is the year I begin something new, well something different, and as always, I will relish this adventure.
